Access the PPL
- Incoming students access the PPL through their Next Steps Center during their remote testing period. After the remote testing period has ended, Main campus students can only test in-person in the Math building.
- Arizona Online student who have an active PPL account but do not have access to the Next Steps Center can Contact the Math Placement Office to request access to the PPL.
- The PPL is available generally March 1 through the first day of fall classes and then by mid-November through the first day of spring classes. Check the website for availability.
- Students who have an active PPL account have to wait 7 days between attempts at the test. Use of Prep and Learning is required before accessing a 3rd attempt.
- Students who have expired PPL accounts should not expect to retest unless there are unusual circumstances. If a student has not done well in a prerequisite course or Math 100, the student should not try to skip over that course. This is not a recipe for success.
